Meg Moody

Meg Moody (NC11810) is a North Carolina Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC for massage therapy and has a Bachelor’s Degree from the UNCC in Psychology. She has been practicing since 2012, seeing clients with problems ranging from severe muscle and joint pain to Parkinson’s Disease.

Meg has continuing education and special certifications in Prenatal & PostpartumReikiLymphatic Drainage,  Thai Massage, Fertility Massage. She studied Thai massage under Michael Sitzer in Ashville and Ajarn Pichest in Thailand.  Meg has been working with the Parkinson’s community since 2016.

She gives lectures to help educate the community on the benefits of massage and has now started a specific massage type to help reduce symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease. Meg is very knowledgeable about the muscle groups and diseases.  She has a very unique way of working the body to alleviate pain and achieve optimal results.

Meg has continued her education at the Edgar Cayce Institute where she studied Past Life Hypnosis Regression.  She is  helping people unlock answers that may be buried deep within their subconscious.

Meg is the founder of Escape Massage in Charlotte NC, where she is considered one of the best massage therapist in the city!

Amanda Brown

Amanda Brown (NC11022, SC8331) has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in both North and South Carolina for almost a decade. She graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC, in 2011 with certifications in both Swedish and Neuromuscular bodywork. She has continued to advance her massage skills with Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Pre-natal & Postpartum, Fertility, Lymphatic drainage, Thai massage, as well as Systema bodywork. Recently, she has retired from the teaching staff of the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork, where she assisted new therapists learn the skills they need to experience the joy and fulfillment she has found in helping others.

Amanda is very knowledgeable about muscle and soft tissue dysfunction. As a former member of the US Armed Forces, she understands that stress, fatigue, and injury can affect not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well. When she was first medically discharged from the military, it was massage that lessened her pain, gave her back her mobility, and steered her into her new life and passion. She is focused on pain management and relief as well as realigning the body’s natural balance. She is very intuitive and customizes each session for the needs of the client.

Amanda has worked on clients ages 9 to 92 and from all walks of life, from celebrities to business professionals and athletes of all performance levels; there is a need for relief, relaxation, and balance for all. She offers Massage Therapy, in both Swedish and Deep Tissue, as well as Structural Bodywork to her clients.
